Having said that, I think you are in trouble.  I think your surgeon put your creases too high.  The left crease is higher than the right crease.  I have written this on Realself before that this is often seen in right handed surgeons.  They get the crease right on the side of their dominant hand but have trouble making the incision identical on side corresponding to the non-dominant hand.  I think as you heal, this issue will be hidden in the upper eyelid fold but it might be a couple of months before you agree with me.  However, I suspect that at that point, what will bother you is the crease will appear too high with very long exposed eyelid platforms.  If this issue persists for more than 6 to 12 months and you are motivated to correct this concern, this can be done by performing upper eyelid ptosis surgery.  Icing at this point will not speed the resolution of the swelling.

Thanks for your question. Upper lid blepharoplsty incisions are traditionally place in the natural supratarsal crease. While this is often symmetric, many patients have 1-2mm difference between the sides. Therefore you may have had this asymmetry preoperatively but not noticed it. You also have a fair amount normal eyelid swelling. Ice packs and having your head elevated 30 degrees or so during sleep can all help. I would recommend discussing your concerns with your surgeon and they will be able to help address this.congrats on your surgery!
