I am 5'5, weighing 160 with 34H breast. I've always had large breast and the moment I got pregnant they blew up! I'm currently losing weight & my main focus is toning my chest & abdomen being that I want to be in my ideal shape totally toned before surgery. So my question is what type of procedure would I need and the type of visible scaring can I look forward to if any at all?
Answer: Breast reduction
Good morning!
I agree that your breasts are out of proportion for your small frame and a breast reduction would open up new possibilities in lifestyle and clothing choices. A nice byproduct of your breast reduction would be a lifting of your tissues into a higher, perkier position. Because of the distance needed to move your areola to a proper position, you will require a full anchor lift incision. It is my opinion that anything less than that will give you a suboptimal result over the long term. Properly performed and cared for, a full anchor incision can give barely perceptible scars after the scar has had time to mature.
I hope this helps.

Answer: Ultimate Breast Reduction
You are an excellent candidate for a new technique called The Ultimate Breast Reduction. This technique will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Your bra size can be reduced to the size you desire and pain is relieved by transferring the weight of the breast to the underlying muscle. There are no vertical scars like the lollipop or boat anchor shaped incisions. This technique maintains nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed.
Best Wishes,
Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast Reduction for "Extremely Large" Breasts
-Good for you for losing weight prior to your operation! It is always best to be as close to your ideal weight as possible before undergoing surgery.
-In order to make your breasts significantly smaller you will need to have a breast reduction. This involves removing excess skin and breast tissue. Your nipples/areolas will also be lifted to a higher position.
-You can expect to have scars around your areolas and a vertical scar that goes from your areola straight down to your inframammary fold (the creases under your breasts). You likely will also have a scar underneath your breasts that would be visible if you were to lift your breasts up.
-Definitely meet with a board certified plastic surgeon to find out more about this operation.
Thanks for sharing your photos!

Answer: Breast reduction after weight loss
Based on your photos, your breasts are too large and long for your body. It doesn't hurt to go for a consultation by a board-certified plastic surgeon. However, once you are at your goal weight, your breasts may lose some more volume so you may need another consultation at that time... You will most likely need breast reduction which will involve wise-pattern scars. You should communicate with your plastic surgeon on your goal/desire for certain breast size. You are a good candidate for breast reduction; and I think you will be happy with the procedure! Good luck to you.

Answer: Breast reduction
I think that once you get to your ideal weight, a breast reduction would be helpful to reduce the volume and lift the breasts. You probably would benefit from an abdominoplasty as well. An exam in person is key.
