My fiancée and I spent a great deal of money and time searching for a competent plastic surgeon that could help with breast augmentation. Price of the procedure was a concern for us as it is with most people, and we tried the lower priced institutions in Cancun, Playia de Carmen, and Cozumel. We ended up spending a lot of money on hotel visits and rent a cars going to different doctors that al said that everyone but them was incompetent and that we needed to do the procedure asap! Well we did need to do the procedure as soon as we could because my fiancée was training for her first Ironman and the competition was less then 8 weeks away and she really wanted to have a look she felt comfortable in as she did the impossible for her special day. We never felt right about any of the doctors we spoke to or visited with, it just felt like we trying to push a square peg through a round hole. We were about to give up when we found Dr. Navaro in Merida. When we called we were a little suspicious because all of our main concerns he said was no problem… the size we were looking for with a natural look, the time it takes to recuperate and get back to training would be less than 10 days, the placement of the implants to help running posture, the technology of the implants for safety and the warranty itself were of no issue. It was just too good to be true and usually I run away when everything is just too perfect but Dr. Navaro spoke with such confidence…He was not conceded, he did not talk down to us, but when we asked him to explain in detail about a subject it was no problem for him which showed me that he had a lot of experience…real experience not just watching Doogie Houser on TV but real world on the job training experience that cannot be imitated. Even though it was further than what we wanted to travel we committed to doing the operation the following week. The results have been better than what we hoped for. Everything that he said would happen did so just like clockwork. He gave us special attention because we did not know the language or the area. More than reassuring us everything was ok was the fact that this man is a master at his craft, and he takes a lot of pride in his work. I have heard that Dr. Navaro is a little more expensive than other places but let me tell you that for what you are getting you are not paying nearly what you should. Do you know how much it will cost to have something fixed if something should go wrong (if it can be fixed)? Most of the time I say you get what you pay for, but in this case I challenge you to get a better price for what this man can do…I just do not think you can find someone with his experience and dedication to even come close. Though super intrigued by Dr Navarro's "5th generation" method for breast lift with implants, I was disappointed that he was charging basically US prices. I was quoted $10,000 for lift with implant change and a minor abdomen lipo or mini tummy tuck. My doctor in the US quoted me $8,000 for the breast work and I can get Vaser lipo for less than $1,000. Adding the cost of the hotel and travel, this would not be a very smart decision.
