One areola bigger than the other, can I lighten to make it smaller?

I have one areola which is almost twice as big as the other. My areolas are very very light, is there a way to possibly lighten the one large one to make it appear smaller or is medical tattooing an option? I don’t want to go through areola reduction surgery. I scar terribly

While in theory this may sound like a good idea, the reality could be not at all what your were hoping for. For something specific like this I encourage you to look at other alternatives, such as the tattoo option versus surgical creation of the shape.

Medical tattooing is often used to help improve pigment differences and to give a more natural look to the areola.. I encourage you to visit with an artist to discuss what you would like changed and discuss your options.
