Miradry is only FDA approved for underarm sweating. There are studies in progress for use on the palms but no definite dates of when that may be available as of yet. Currently, miraDry is only FDA approved for underarm sweating. miraDry will help to permanently stop underarm sweat, hair and odor in as little as one treatment. Currently at our practice, we offer botox treatments for palmar hyperhidrosis (sweaty palms). This will help to reduce temporarily stop the sweating; however, retreatment will be required every 4 months. Best of luck!
Hi, thank you for your question! Yes, unfortunately there can be great deal of swelling after a Miradry treatment. The swelling is due to the injectable numbing but should subside within a few days.If the swelling does not subside within the week I would recommend following up with your provider.
