I get to finally take off my tensor this morning. My lulu lemon bra is supportive and very comfortable. It can be easily taken off by slipping it off and down my body. I want to know if this is okay rather than using the post op bra that is a button up style in the front type of bra.
Answer: Can I wear lululemon bra Most likely yes. Always best to make a quick call to the office and check with the nurse or even the receptionist may be able to get you an answer.

Answer: Can I wear my lulu lemon sports bra instead of post op bra? I appreciate your question. Best to discuss with your plastic surgeon what post op bra he/she would recommend you wear at this time. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. Best of luck! Dr. Schwartz

Answer: Lulu lemon bra instead of postop bra after breast augmentation. Hello, I would recommend checking with your plastic surgeon for specific recommendations about your support bra and other postop care advice. In my own practice, as long at the bra is clean, fits properly and it is not rubbing the wounds (no underwire), I don't mind which bra is used.

Answer: Can I wear my lulu lemon sports bra instead of post op bra? Congratulations on having undergone the breast augmentation procedure. The question regarding the use of bras is surprisingly common on this website; there is no “standard” when it comes to the use of specific bras or garments after breast surgery. In other words, different plastic surgeons may have different practices when it comes to postoperative dressings/bras. Therefore, best to check with your plastic surgeon. For example, in my practice, patients wake up with a surgical bra in place. This surgical bra, although not attractive, is supportive and used for about one month after surgery (some of my patients have been known to burn the bra ASAP). Then, patients transition to a soft sports bra. Wired bras are used when breast implants have reached their “final position” and patients have full sensation along the breast skin. Best wishes.
