Can the white scar on my bottom lip be removed? (photo)

Question

On the picture shown you see a white bump. I saw that it was white and I thought it was a wart. So I kept ripping it off for about a year. This year I went to my doctor and asked what it was and she said it was a scar and that it could not be removed. I really need to know if theres some type of way this scar could be removed. Please help me. I can't stand when people look it at. I always try to hide it with lipstick but it comes off when i eat or drink.

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. The white scar on your bottom lip could be removed surgically.  This would be a fairly simple procedure that could be done in the office with just local anesthesia.

YES! excision and suture of the lip can be done under local anesthesia. Result should be much better but there is always risk of a scar...

The picture shows a whitish plaque that might be  a wart, a trichilemoma, or another benign growth of the skin seen on lip or mucosal areas.  You have to go to your board certified Dermatologist for help.
