you can get coolsculpting or trusculpt + muscular toning like FLEX and/or emsculpt without an issue. If you have small problem areas you can use non invasive methods like coolsculpting with vanquish or TrusculptID to get small areas of fat reduced. Skin also tightens if you combine this with exilis ultra, venus legacy, Inmode Forma/Contoura radiofrequency treatments. You boost the results from coolsculpting if you add in Kybella injections to melt fat as well. We also combine coolsculpting with shock therapy like Z wave, EVIVE, and cellutone to get even faster results, more improvement, and less risk of combinations like nodules, swelling, neuropathy or paradoxical hyperplasia. In my opinion, you could undergo CoolSculpting after removal of lymph nodes 2 years ago. An examination of the patient is always needed first, to determine if they might be a good candidate for the treatment or not. The examination is also needed to determine the placement, the type and number of applicators needed for the best results.
Dear Nikind:Although having CoolSculpting after lymph node resection would not be dangerous, you may experience swelling afterward which could take some time to resolve. There is no risk of infection with CoolSculpting, so lacking lymph nodes as a defense against infection would not be a problem, but the lymphatic channels that drain fluid away from swollen areas are disrupted and likely would not function as well. If you decide to proceed, you should anticipate this. Massage might be helpful in resolving any edema.I hope this information is helpful.Sheryl Clark MD FAAD
Thank you for your question. It is, indeed, a clever one. You see, I specialize in CoolSculpting and other body contouring procedures at my Beverly Hills plastic surgery practice. We are experts in the field serving the world’s most discerning clientele. We do a lot of CoolSculpting. In my opinion, it is an amazing, transformative procedure. The reason your query holds so much insight is because, in the CoolSculpting procedure, it is eventually your lymphatic system that will expel the dead fat cells as they are permanently excreted from your body. However, after you have fully recovered from your surgery, your body’s systems should very well have learned to carry on without the extra lymph nodes. It is a difficult question to answer without observing you directly, which what I’m sure you’ll hear again and again from forums like these. If you believe you have fully recovered from your surgery then it’s certainly worth pursuing with your doctor, if you feel passionate about it. Go out there and find the answers you seek! Best of luck on your journey. Vinay Aggarwal, MD
