Cost of revision surgery?

I have severe pain in left breast stage four capsular contracture. I have a PPO who's agreed to pay to remove plant.The implant company will be replacing old plants.. I been told I paying 7,000 or 8,000 .I don't qualify for care credit .My pain is getting unbearable my range of motion in left arm is limited need advice Thank you in advance for any help or advice

Dear hayleyrenee,
the price is entirely practice dependent. If it was planned to be staged than the cost may be included. If its a revision, typically surgeons only ask the patient to pay for the surgery center and anesthesia.

Since this is your fourth capsule and it is stage four, removing the implants and capsules will be your best solution. Otherwise, you need to go smaller and use mesh to completely cover the implants. Mesh is expensive and does not guarantee you will not develop another capsule.
