I am Marci. 4 years ago I have injected oil silicone In buttock.I been told they injecting collagen instead of the material they used.After 1 year I start having redness, swollen, hardness, pain.I try # antibiotics, IVfor a period of 1 year.A plastic surgeon doctor done the surgery and remove a container of the material.Biopsy result:SIlicone granuloma. In 6months I had the same symptoms, we using Kanolone Injection10mg months- during the times that it appearsI need help to remove the rest of material,looking for a doctor who willing to help me

Traditionally the only way to treat symptomatic (hard, painful, and/or infected) silicone granulomas in the buttock is to directly excise the problematic area, unfortunately leaving a deforming contour and large scar.  If treatment is rendered earlier than later, before hardening sets in, then liposuction with fat grafting may be considered.  Make to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this arena before signing on any doted line.  glad to help.
