Hello, I had Botox today in crow's feet and the assistant used an ice roller device under my eyes afterward. It burned while she was doing it and now my under eyes are reddish, sore, and slightly swollen. I am nervous. How can I heal them? Thank you!

From board-certified doctors and trusted medical professionals
Proper placement of fillers helps give you that "pouty" look that you are searching for. Botox cannot be injected into the lips. Some physicians inject a small amount into the lines above the mouth but it often leads to unwarranted side effects.
There are doctors who choose to mix Botox with lidocaine instead of normal saline but for what purpose I am not certain. The Allergan company who manufactures Botox has recommended the dilution be performed with sterile water or normal saline and most physicians follow these guidelines.
There is a range of dosage for crow's feet. It sounds like you had a little more than average. I would wait two weeks to assess your results. One day is not enough to see any results from your Botox injections. Please keep me posted.
