Any idea on what caused my neck creases/lines? How can it be fixed? (Photo)

I’m 21 years old and I have two neck creases/lines. it almost looks swollen. I first noticed when I was in middle school and thought it was a spider bite at first but it never went away. I have always been very insecure about it since no one my age has this problem. Any ideas on what caused it or how to fix it?

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

These neck lines may be genetic in nature.  They can be exacerbated when we continually are looking down at our phone, etc.  We recommend caring for your skin using medical grade products like Transform MD and wearing sunscreen every day.

If you noticed this back in middle school and it's never improved; or if it's only slowly gotten worse. Please see a dermatologist as soon as possible. If it was a spider bite it would not have lasted years; the average time for a spider-bite to fully heal would be a 7-10 days - if that.

The cause can help be identified once you're able to identify what's truly causing the "swollen" look.

This is a challenge! I feel you will get great results from Morpheus8 RF and use the RF to melt some of the fat and tighten the skin and increase collagen in the crease lines.

The first aspect to consider would be to visit a Family practice Doctor to rule out any problems in general. This could have an underlying condition related (but not limited to) the thyroid gland. There is also many other medical reasons. You may also be perfectly healthy and only have some fat deposits in that area of your neck, and if that is the case, you may be a candidate for different options. 
Again, once you have checked all the boxes previously mentioned and all your pertinent test are negative, some choices may be Mesotherapy/ Kybella (injections) or laserliposuction.
