I had a mole on my tummy, shaved off but it hasn't completely gone, what is the best way to get rid of it completely?

I had a non cancerous raised mole, removed by the shaved method, as it's healed and formed to a light scar there is still the mole root, how do I go about getting this perminatly removed.
