Answer: Panniculectomy panni pannus extended tummy tuck lower body lift insurance coverage lower body panniculectomy expert tummy tuck Thank you for your question regarding if a panniculectomy or severe breast asymmetry is covered by Husky A Medicare. In regards to specific questions regarding specific insurance companies, you would have to contact Husky A Medicare directly. Most Medicare insurance companies require that your abdominal pannus covers your pubis region completely. Most Medicare requirements for panniculectomy also require that you can document chronic rashes refractory to skin creams and lotions. In addition, your weight needs to be stable and ideally your BMI less than 30. If you lost more than 100+ lbs with diet and exercise, you must be at a stable weight for 6 months. You also need to prove that the abdominal pannus inhibits activities of daily living. Please seek an experienced plastic surgeon who has dealt with insurance companies before. Thank you for your question regarding a panniculectomy that is covered by Husky Medicare. Usually, Medicare does NOT cover procedures for breast asymmetry. Thank you for your question regarding the panniculectomy. I hope that I have answered your questions whether a panniculectomy or severe breast asymmetry is covered by Husky A Medicare. I specialize in reconstructive plastic surgery after weight loss. If you have any more questions regarding the panniculectomy, extended lower body lift, lower body lift, 360 circumferential lower body lift, belt lipectomy, belt abdominoplasty, or belt dermolipectomy, please contact my office. Since the panniculectomy or lower body lift is a big procedure, please seek an experienced, board certified plastic surgeon with significant experience performing the panniculectomy or lower body lift. Answer: Insurance coverage Hello. Insurance coverage varies from state to state and insurance plan to insurance plan. I would seek consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area that is in network with your insurance plan. Keep in mind that a panniculectomy is not the same as a tummy tuck
