I'm looking for a surgeon that will perform Lipo, BBL, and a tummy tuck in a hospital setting because I have stents. They were placed over 2 years ago and my cardiologist is ok with me not taking aspirin and blood thinners since it's been so long but recommends I have it in a hospital. I need a doctor on the east coast. No further than Georgia though. Can anyone please recommend one?
Answer: BBL There shouldn't be an issue finding a board-certified plastic surgeon that operates out of both surgical centers and hospitals. It is important you feel comfortable with your surgeon and address any concerns you might have to them during a thorough in person consultation. Best of luck! Answer: BBL and tummy tuck question Hello and thank you for the question. Most board certified plastic surgeons have options for doing their surgery. Most are done in out patient surgery centers as they are well suited for procedures where the patient is able to go home safely. Larger procedures or patients with medical concerns may need to be cared for in the hospital setting. This is cosmetic surgery and the likelihood is that the procedure will not be covered by your insurance. This applies to both the doctors fees and the hospital fees. One reason that most cosmetic surgery is done outpatient, is that the cost is less. So it's important that you understand having the procedure in the hospital will carry an additional fee. Doing this type of procedure, I would recommend using lovenox to prevent the risk of DVT but also to help protect your stents during the procedure. I have used lovenox ( an injectible short acting blood thinner ) for years with no bleeding complications. You should seek several consultations with board certified plastic surgeons before making any final decisions. As always, best to be healthy, no smoking and make sure any health conditions you have are managed by your primary care md. Best to you. #tummytuck #brazilianbuttlift #bennettyangMD

Answer: BBL and hospital I perform surgeries in hospitals when it is indicated. If your doctor feels that you are healthy enough to undergo the procedure and you can remain off the aspirin for 10 days before and about one week afterwards, then sounds good to me!

Answer: Brazilian butt lift/tummy tuck Thank you for your question.I would recommend when looking for a surgeon to perform your BBL and tummy tuck that you choose one who is board certified. You may also want to look on the ASPS website as this lists board certified plastic surgeons in your area. I would also look at the surgeon’s credentials, memberships, educational background, reviews and before and afters. Before and afters are a good indicator of their techniques and outcomes from BBL/tummy tuck surgeries and reading reviews from other patients is a good way to see what their experience with the doctor was like. Regarding combining the two procedures it is possible to have them both done at the same time but you have to find a doctor willing to do them together. I generally stage these procedures simply because you will have to refrain from sitting on your buttocks for at least 2 weeks after a BBL which means you would need to sleep on your stomach, which may not be optimal when just having a tummy tuck. It is also important to also follow their aftercare instructions as the recovery will be more intense than staging them. This reduces complications and provides for a more comfortable post-operative recovery. Best of luck in your endeavors!
