Does smoking alter the effectiveness of micro-needling?

I’ve just had my third session of micro needling I’ve seen a slight improvement on my problem Area which not I say acne scarring The thing is I’m A smoker Does this affect the micro needling process ? Have I wasted my time with the previous sessions I can stop but just wondering? I am good in other areas lol or I don’t drink I for l loads of water I eat healthy and work out which are beneficial I guess!

I would start with a series of microneedling treatments. I usually recommend 4-6 total treatment sessions having 1 session per month. After that you can maintain your results using Hydrafacial or microdermabrasion once every 1-2 months.

The depth of the needle depends on the patient and area being treated. Normal depth for facial microneedling is 0.75 - 1.5 mm.  I always recommend microneedling with PRP for best results. I often combine these procedures with fillers, on the same day when treating under the eye. See an expe...

Thank you for your question. I would recommend waiting until after your finished breast feeding before you have any cosmetic procedures done. With most MicroNeedling procedures you numb beforehand. For that reason we would suggest you finish nursing before having the procedure done. If...
