Thank you for the question. Yes, you can switch implant profiles. High profile breast implants project more and are narrower. To keep same width, you have to increase the implant size. Speak with your plastic surgeon about your options. Best regards, Dr. Aldo :)
Thank you for your question. Yes it is possible to change from a moderate to a high profile implant. Communicate communication with your plastic surgeon will help them understand your goals. They will be able to advise you whether additional surgeries are needed. A high profile implant, of the same volume, will have a narrower overall width. It will narrow your breast. A high profile implant with the same base diameter as your moderate profile, will maintain your breast width, but give your breast more projection.
Thank you for your question. The simple answer is yes, it is easy to change from a moderate to a high profile implant. The more important question is what goal you are trying to achieve? If you switch from a moderate to high profile implant of the same volume (cc size), the high profile implant will be less wide at the base and will produce a less wide breast imprint with more projection. If you are trying to maintain the width of the implant and the overall imprint, but just improve your projection, then moving from a moderate profile implant to a high profile implant of the same width will mean an increase in implant volume (cc size). See the link provided for a visual of what I am describing. Hope this helps!
with implants but unless there is a problem you are trying to address, why do it? Going to HP from Moderate means you want more projection BUT are accepting of a narrower base that translates to more space between the mounds and less side boob. If this is what you want, then the HP implant will help. But without knowing what your concerns are, its hard to say if you should do it since it adds costs and risks that could end up with contractures which would be awful.
Thank you for the question. Yes, generally speaking, it should be possible to exchange moderate profile breast implants to a high-profile breast implant. Ultimately, which operation you should undergo (if any) will depend mainly on your personal goals. If I were seeing you in consultation, I would ask that you communicate these goals in terms of goal photographs and/or computer imaging. Avoid the use of cup sizes as a reference point; this can be a source of confusion and miscommunication. My best advice: select your plastic surgeon carefully. Make sure that he/she has significant experience achieving the types of outcomes you will be pleased with. Then, communicate your goals carefully, as discussed above. Working together you will come up with a good plan to achieve your goals. You may find the attached link (dedicated to revision breast surgery concerns) helpful to you as you learn more. Best wishes.
It is possible to change out your implants from any style to another; but why are you doing this? There needs to be a reason why you would want to do this; this is the more important question that you must appreciate so that you get the results you are seeking.
The breast implants are not the issue, but instead it is the anesthesia medications and your eggs exposed so soon before donation. You're better off making your doctor aware and letting them know about your surgery. Warmest regards, Dr. ALDO
From the photos, they still look normal and will most likely continue to settle. In plastic surgery, more than any other field, an examination is necessary to decide on a treatment plan. It is difficult to say this is a good result without an exam.
Hi there and thanks for the question and photos In my opinion, you would get a poor cosmetic result with breast augmentation without a breast lift. You would need large implants to fill the loose skin and over time, with the degree of elasticity in your tissues, they will drop significantly,...
