Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started. I am really sorry that you have been suffering from this. It is why I am no proponent of the use of "bells and whistles" fraxel lasers and other so-called energybased devices, as the use of these are much more backed by heavy marketing hype rather than hard science. Professionally performed manual (no need for the addition of relatively expensive RF) microneedling can be used to improve superficial skin texture and color irregularities. You would be wise to consult a board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.
I encourage you to begin by visiting with a board certified plastic surgeon near you. You will probably have the best outcome from a combination of treatments such as Morpheus8 which focuses on improving overall skin tone and texture and medical grade skin care products. Your specialist will give recommendations after an in person evaluation.
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest...
Hi there, Excessive oil production is not Seborrheic dermatitis. Ketoconazole is usually prescribed for a fungus. You need to see a Dermatologist and get on the proper medication. You may want to look into Accutane as well. See an expert. Best of luck!
