CBCT vs CT scan for custom implants, which is preferred?

Planning to get a custom cheek implant but need an XRAY of my skull first. Thing is, every surgeon asks for a slightly different thing. CBCT, CT, 3DCT etc. I can't tell if they're all the same or not so I'd like your guys' input on what is the most preferred type of XRAY.

The most common problems with the placement of chin implants is migration and malposition. There are no long term problems that I am aware with screw fixation. I prefer screw fixation in all my cases to prevent migration. Screw fixation is far superior to using sutures. I have seen many patients...
