Would it be a bad idea to have hair transplanted to the beard area if I have a chin implant?

No contraindication at all.  The depth of a beard transplant is significantly more superficial than the location of the chin implant, and in fact I have done similar cases as yours.  As far as using Nizoral 2% shampoo, I would likely recommend that you not resume the use of this after the transplant for the first 3 weeks.

Chin/jaw implants are not a contraindication to having a beard hair transplant. Choosing a hair transplant surgeon who is familiar with chin/jaw implants ie a Plastic Surgeon might be advisable. You should always ask your hair transplant surgeon about post operative graft care and scalp hygiene including shampoos/conditioners as some doctors are very particular about what products can or can’t be used over certain timeframes.

The chin implant is usually much deeper than the hair follicles which are very shallow and should not go as deep as the implant.
