It
looks like you have developed some Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH),
common after burns. This first step to take is up your sun protection, any sun
exposure at all can cause further skin darkening. Make sure you are diligent
with sunscreen, wear a hat, and avoid the sun when possible. Starting a regime
with a prescription skin lightener (A blend of Hydroquinone and Retin-A) will
help improve the discoloration slowly and safely when used consistently. It can
safely be used for about 6 months.

From your photograph it appears that your skin color became more brown -- you have post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). They may have used a higher energy during you last treatment.You are likely to benefit from a bleaching cream (combination hydroquinone, retin-A and triamcinolone). This is essentially the Kligman's formula or Triluma cream. I have these creams compounded for my patients. Go back to your hair removal place and have them prescribe it to you. You also need sun protection using a zinc oxide containing sunscreen. Best of luck.
