Could hair loss be related to my breast implants?

Question

I have had my breast implants for almost 2 years and have experiencing hair loss. Not just a little at least 200+ hairs every time I wash my hair. I don't think I have any other symptoms. Could this be related to my breast implants? I have normal amount of stress and have gotten blood work to check my thyroid and all came back normal. I have not changed my routine and exercise/eat pretty healthy.

It is highly unlikely that your hair loss would be related to breast implants. You don't state your age but it's important to note that MANY women experience hair thinning (AGA) in the perimenopausal period. This is often seen starting in the early to mid 40s as estrogen levels decline. Other common reasons for Telogen Effluvium (hair shedding) can be anemia (women with heavy periods, vegan/veg diets) or significant weight loss (even 20lb over a short time). And of course thyroid problems which you've smartly already checked for. At this point, if you haven't already, I would get a hemoglobin level to be sure you're not anemic. I would also suggest you start 5% topical minoxidil (available over the counter) daily to help reduce hair loss and miniaturization going forward. The good news is, if it's related to anemia or weight loss, it's usually temporary and will get better with Fe supplements and stable weight (you do not need to regain though) I hope this answers your question.

Sadly, hair loss is common in women and can be caused by a myriad of things like stress, auto-immune causes, mechanical, genetic causes or hormonal changes. Sometimes, there is more than one underlying cause. It is unlikely to be caused by the breast implants. 
The good news is that in some cases, where appropriately assessed and treated in a timely manner, some types of hair loss may be reversible.It is best to seek expert advice sooner rather than later in order to identify the underlying cause(s) and begin any appropriate management.

Your hair loss is most likely not caused by the breast implants you had two years ago.Women lose hair for several reasons, and only a qualified physician can provide a reliable diagnosis. I recommend you schedule a consultation with an expert in your area.

Hair loss following breast augmentation may be a manifestation of breast implant illness, "a syndrome characterized by fatigue, decreased focus, hair loss, and joint pain"....or may be due to other causes...
I recommend reevaluation by your plastic surgeon.
