Is topical Finasteride less effective for someone with an oily scalp?

I've been using topical finasteride 1mg for six months, but I still losing my hair. I see that I have some baby hairs are growing up. I use biotin 10000. I take one pill every day. As well, I'm just wondering if it's okay to use 1.5mg of topical finasteride instead.

Your continuous hair loss may be caused by several factors.There is no guarantee that hair loss treatments will stop your hair loss 100 per cent, so you may continue to lose hair while you are taking them.Additionally, finasteride treatment can cause shedding after a few months.To get a diagnosis, I suggest you visit a qualified hair loss expert in your area. You might want to apply topical finasteride to a dry, clean scalp.
