Despite the fact that any surgery can have some risks,(allergyc reactions etc.)Other than that there is only one life-threatening risk is that misusing the medications (overdose of local anesthesics or misuse of epynephrine) especially with the ones who has serious disease (hearth condition etc.).Hair transplant procesudures are one of the safest surgeries if it is performed by exprienced surgeon..Result are permanent if safe donor area is chosen for extracting the follicles.And of course all team must be very exprienced and skilled not to harm grefts in any stage of procedure..briefly safe and 'permanent' if surgeon and team obeys the medical rules..

Thank you for the excellent question. Hair transplant is both safe and permanent as long as the donor hair is permanent as well. If the donor hair was taken from an area at risk for future hair loss, then the permanence of the transplanted hair is in jeopardy. It is for this reason that the donor site is chosen carefully to ensure that it is within a "safe zone" to avoid future hair loss and the site is kept to as small an area as possible. In this respect, the FUT technique is advantageous when compared to the FUE technique.

So many times I feel that people rush into a hair transplant, or many medical procedures, without doing their proper research. Hair transplants are very safe and do have excellent and permanent results if, and only if, you have a reliable and very experienced doctor. You must find a reputable doctor with lots of experience.
