You can't have them removed. Once they have been capped they have to have caps on them. I'm sure if they are redone and look and fit better you should love them.
Not really sure what your question is about. If you're looking to find out the cost to have two front teeth capped then the answer is simple. A lot of this will depend upon where you live and whether you're looking for a Private Fee for Service Dentist or Insurance Based. In a Private Fee for Service practice caps can cost, and this is only an estimate, from $800 to $1800 depending on the location of the practice, the skill and credentials of the dentist, the materials used etc. There is no one fee for a cap that meets all needs. My suggestion is for you to evaluate a dentist for the skills, the kind of practice, their level of care and concern and then decide if this kind of practice is something you want. Fees when it comes to dental health should not, in my opinion, be the prime motivator for making this kind of decision.
If you are having problems with your speech because of the caps, then you should have the dentist check them. Perhaps they can be reshaped in the mouth to correct the problem or at least, make it better. If it turns out the caps do need to be removed, then new caps must be put on. the removal would be part of the new cap or crown fee which will vary by the area you live in,the dentist, and the type of crown done.
Return to your Dr for an adjustment of the crown and further evaluation. A high spot on the crown or an opening at the margin of the crown or other can create much trauma to your tooth
