I am 170cm tall, 58 kg athletic figure with wide shoulders. Ga) I feel I have too much volume on my higher body proportionally and b) aesthetically I like small to medium breasts, I have asked my surgeon to go as small as possible. I want anatomical implants. My doctor insists that because of my dimensions he can recommend 255cc moderate plus anatomical implants and also try on the operation 225cc but can’t go with smaller? Is there really a limitation? I have 34a/b now. I think 180cc we’d be ok
Answer: Implant selection It's difficult to give specific size recommendations without photos or an in person examination. Many surgeons have sample implants available you can try on to help you get an idea how you may look after surgery. Your surgeon will consider your breast width in order to guide her/him towards the implant that will provide the look closest to your surgical goals. I've included a video that I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Size The smallest size is around 125 cc's depending upon which company your surgeon uses. Yes, you can go smaller, just enough to add a cup increase in size if you want. Ask to try on both sizes so you can get an idea of the difference.

Answer: Sizing anatomic implants Generally speaking, sizing anatomic implants for breasts is like sizing shoes for feet. They need to fit precisely within the existing breast boundaries or foot print of the breast otherwise the asymmetric shape can make your breasts look unnatural. So, choosing the right implant dimensions is completely dependent on your specific breast dimensions. Adjustability in volume is then achieved with the amount of implant projection (moderate, moderate plus, high etc.).

Answer: Implant size Dear Nicolegym13, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Implant size on downside hello, Nicoleas per the description given by you i.e. 170cmc, 58kgs, broad shoulders, and more volume on the upper body, 180 wouldn't be sufficient. Anything between 225/255 moderate plus anatomical implant will give you medium-sized breasts with reasonable projection and perkiness. There is no thumb rule or limitation but the size and type of implants are individualized as per body structure and patient expectations. discuss these with your board certified surgeon for the best outcome.
