7 weeks post op, scar moving up from the crease area. Any suggestions? (photos)

Thank you for the good question. When the implants drop my patients are told to expect the incision to move up a little in relation to the pocket and the implant. This is expected and fine. The incisions can be kept small by using the Keller funnel and the healing is generally very good.

It is normal to have the incision to raise upwards a small amount on the underside of the breast in certain patients. After your scar fades it is barely visible and is in a better location for many bikini tops the expose the bottom go your breast. Contact your PS for their advice.

Yes, the scars can migrate a bit as your implants drop.  They should end up in your crease or at the very bottom of your breast.  Check with your surgeon to make sure that the position is good and ask about what type scar therapy is recommended.  They should fade out nicely in about 18 months and be barely seen.  ac

should be addressed with your surgeon.  Your surgeon will determine if your implants are level, descending, or if they need interventions to help achieve the best outcome possible.  You can also ask about why one is 'harder' than the other.

The scar can migrate at times.  If you are happy with the overall shape and size of the implants, then I doubt that the scar will pose you any problems in a few months.  It is still early and the scar will mature and fade over the next couple of months.  Hope that helps!
