I am 19 years old, 5'4, 120lbs, 10.5cm I'm having my surgery in about a month and my surgeon gave me the option of choosing 280cc Moderate, or 300cc High. I want a natural look, but my fear is going too small. I'm aware that the sizes are not very different, but the profiles are. Would getting high profile make my breasts look fake, done, too perky? The last thing I want is for it to look like two balls on my chest. I am really torn between the two, the moderate didn't project as much as I wanted.
Answer: Dimensional breast augmentation Dimensional planning may be performed by your surgeon, based on a variety of measurements such as breast width, your height, weight and etc. This would give you a better idea of which would be more suitable for you.

Answer: Which would you recommend; 280cc Moderate or 300cc High Profile? Hi. I hear your dilemma. You failed to post photos and therefore an accurate assessment of your breast a cannot be made. You've chosen your surgeon for a reason. I am assuming you personally met with him/her and spent time discussing your options. Did you try on sizers? Mentor makes a great sizing kit that I use on everyone. Whether or not your breasts will look fake, depends. Did you look at countless photographs of previous patients your surgeon has done? Do they look fake? I assume that all,of this was done and that he/she was able to gain your trust. If so, then go with the suggestions. There is no substitute for research. If you have already committed to your surgeon then discuss your concerns with him/ her. Looking natural after a breast augmentation is always my primary goal.

Answer: How to Pick the Best Size and Shape Breast Implant The most important suggestion I can give you is to find a board certified plastic surgeon who will guide you through this process. Computer software morphing programs that automatically determine the best implant size can be helpful in some but not all cases (e.g. doesn’t work well in my experience with existing implants, sagging or asymmetric breasts). It is very difficult to determine the exact size and shape implant you will require to best match your ideal breast image without an examination by a board certified plastic surgeon. Not just any board certified plastic surgeon, but one with many years of frequently performing breast augmentation surgery including different approaches, techniques and implant choices. This is because several measurements not to mention your breast characteristics are needed to determine the optimal implant size to obtain your goals. Without knowing these dimensions it would be difficult to make this determination. For example, the existing base width of your breast will determine, in many cases, the maximal volume per implant profile that you can accommodate. To illustrate; a 100 cc difference may make a significant difference with a narrow base width breast, but much less of a difference if you have a wide chest wall and wide breast “foot print”. Therefore, just because your friend may have a great result with let’s say a 350 cc implant to make her go from a “A” cup to a “C” cup size does not mean that you will have the same result with the same size implant. . Further simply placing implants in a bra to determine the size best for you is not always accurate as the bra often distorts the size, is dependent on the pressure the bra places plus the implant is outside your breast and not under it among other variables. Using “want to be” photos however are useful if simply provided to the surgeon as I will further explain in the below link.

Answer: 280cc moderate or 300 high profile implants It sounds like you have narrowed down your choices to two implants with a fairly close volume. Ultimately the final decision will be yours to make, based on trying on sizers, looking at before and afters, and/or looking at 3D imaging of the breasts. Perhaps one final appointment will help you make the decision.

Answer: Implant Profile for a Natural Look At our clinic our philosophy is all about achieving the most natural looking results. To choose a projection that's going to give you the most natural looking result, it really depends on the width of your breast. A low projecting implant is wider while a high projecting implant is much more narrow. So for example if you have a wider breast shape, an implant with a lower projection is going to give you a more proportional appearance. If you have a narrower breast shape to begin with, the higher projecting implant will probably give you a better result. Both will give you a boost in volume but the main difference is the shape they create relative to your pre-existing breast shape. The best thing to do would be to discuss the look you want to achieve with your surgeon, make sure you've been measured carefully, and discuss these details with them carefully so that you feel confident that the implant you choose can achieve your goals.
