Otoplasty - bathing my head?

Hello. It's been 7 days since I have had my ears pinned back - and I'm quite happy with the results so far. My question is - is it ok to wash my whole head, and will it not affect the dissolvable stitches?

You should be able to wash your hair around 3-5 days after your procedure with mild shampoo. Be careful around your ears. Use your fingertips and gently massage the soap. If you use a blow dryer, keep the setting cool not hot. Due to numbness of ears, you can burn yourself and not know it.

At seven days from surgery, washing your hair and gently washing around your ears with soap and water should be fine.  This shouldn't have any effect on the dissolvable sutures.

Yes, it is fine to wash your entire head a week
post-op with a mild shampoo, just be gentle around the ear area. 
Dissolvable stiches should not be a problem as they can be hidden just
underneath the skin as your skin heals.
