Fat transfer reconstruction - will donor sites feel change in sensation or sensitivity?

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Thank you for your question. An examination in person would be required to properly evaluate you and provide you with a precise treatment recommendation. That said, it would be rare that a fat harvest (liposuction) would result in long terms changes in the donor site. It can indeed result in contour deformity but permanent sensory changes are rare. If you have confidence in your board certified plastic surgeon, follow his or her recommendations. If you have questions or doubts, consider the benefits of a second opinion. Select your plastic surgeon bases on his or her Before and After gallery, reviews, personal recommendations, and your own impression of the surgeon and his or her office staff. Best of luck to you.
