Puckering on each side of chin incision after neck lift revision. What can I do now? (photos)

Hello. I had a deep neck lift last january and had a revision in june to correct some sagging on each side as well as some puckering (dog ears) on either side of the scar. 3 months later i had another procedure to elongate the incision in an attempt to correct the dog ears. Today, the sides of my neck are starting to sag and the puckering seems to be getting worse.. any ideas on where i should turn now? Thankks!

Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In our office, we use a protocol for scars that minimizes their activity in the 6-8 weeks after surgery. If you have late plastic surgery scars, you may also require laser and RF therapy to help reduce the longterm effects of the scarring. Keloids, hypertrophic scars, widened scars, red scars, and hyperpigmented scars all require scar modulation with topical creams followed by lasers and RF therapy. Topical skincare should be directed to a specific need, whether for pigmentation or hypertrophy and our office can guide you through the process to obtain the correct Plato’s Scar cream or Melarase cream for hypertrophy and discoloration. Let it settle down. You’ve had multiple surgeries in a short period of time. In general, dog ears can be treated with wide undermining to reduce tension and it looks like your mandibulocutaneous ligament is still intact. But most importantly, do nothing for a year.
