Would V Line help asymmetrical chin/mouth & long chin? (Photos)

I've noticed that my chin and mouth areas are asymmetrical and that my chin is disproportionately long. When I smile it only becomes more noticeable. Would V-line surgery help this or is there another procedure that could improve my face shape.

V line surgery would change your mandibular angles and this would not improve your appearance. I would recommend a vertical reduction genioplasty which will decrease the overall length of your face. The amount of chin projection needs to stay the same so that you maintain the mentolabial fold.

V-line surgery is a term for narrowing the jaw.  In some cases the key issue is the chin. Here we can do a variation of jaw surgery where, through the inside of your mouth, we contour the bone and soft tissue to a more tapered and attractive shape.
