Question

I am 10 months post op deep plane face/neck llift. I had my platysma bands done. Digastric muscle plication and fat grafting. I have no defined jaw line/contoured face and my marionette lines/nasolabial folds have hardly been addressed. I did not expect these results from a deep plane procedure.Why do I have these results? What went wrong? My surgeon is aware I’m not happy. Please can I have advice, opinions and comments. Do I need another lift? Thank you

Final results of face lift surgery are not apparent until 12 months. This time is needed for all swelling to dissipate and for the underlying scar tissue to mature and remodel. It is important that you keep in regular contact with your surgeon for advice and reassurance.

It appears to me that your platysma plication fell apart among other things. It’s worth discussing with your surgeon what can be done to improve it
