I know that after getting treatement you should avoid antibiotics as this will make the effects disapear, almost overnight. Are there any vitamins I should avoid?
Answer: What to avoid after Dysport treatment Antibiotics will not affect the results of your treatment. Vigorous exercise, lying down flat, and facial massages should be avoided the day of treatment. Vitamins and medications will not affect the duration of Dysport activity.

Answer: Dysport and antibiotics
You don't have to worry about any antibiotics taken by mouth. There is some concern over some intravenous antibiotics called Aminoglycosides. There are no special precautions etc. THE ONLY CONCERN YOU SHOULD HAVE IS TO GO TO A QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL WHO KNOWS DYSPORT REALLY WELL AND HAS SAFE AND RELIABLE RECORD OF INJECTING DYSPORT. Answer: How to Take Care of Yourself After a Non-Invasive Procedure For anyone preparing for a non-invasive procedure, there are steps to be aware of before and after you undergo your facial injection. Before getting any facial fillers, BOTOX® Cosmetic or Dysport®, you should avoid blood thinning medications, aspirin products, vitamin E, ginseng, gingko biloba, fish oil, and garlic supplements. Cutting these out will help to decrease bruising and swelling and will promote faster healing at the injection site. However, you should consult with a doctor before going off any prescribed supplements or medicine. After an injection of Dysport, you should avoid strenuous exercise for at least a full day, laying down for more than a few hours, and pressing or massaging the injection areas. It’s important to take it easy on that first day. Those activities mentioned can cause the injectable to migrate into other muscles or areas of the face, resulting in an undesired muscle drooping or decrease in mobility! Otherwise, after a non-invasive procedure such as a Dysport injection, you are free to return to work, run light errands, or any other calm daily activity! I wish you the best of luck with your procedure.

Answer: What to avoid after Dysport treatment Dysport, like Botox, is a botulinum toxin which is very effective and safe when injected by highly trained physicians such as dermatologists or plastic surgeons. The main thing I advise avoiding is rubbing the area and laying down flat for 4 hours after the procedure. Not as important, but if you want to reduce risk of bruising (more an issue with fillers), I advise avoiding jaccuzzi/sauna/hottub, and avoiding NSAIDs, aspirin, and other blood thinners such as green tea, ginseng, and gingko biloba. ~ Dr. Benjamin Barankin, Toronto Dermatology Centre.
