Thanks for the great question. This is something you will always want to ask the doctor treating you, but if I have a patient who is having multiple procedures which cannot be done at the same time, then I typically have them wait at least 8 weeks in-between. In my opinion, I would have the Halo done first and see what your results are like afterwards. There is a chance you may not even need the skin pen after a successful Halo treatment! Best of luck!~Dr. Sieber
What is your end goal? HALO has both an ablative wavelength (erbium) and non - ablative - deeper wavelength. Skin pen is similar to erbium EXCEPT erbium generates heat and HSP or Heat Shock Protein. The target for erbium and NA is water in your skin. Essentially you are doubling up on treatments. If you insist that you want BOTH - I would conduct both procedures on the same day. This will minimise your downtime significantly. Dr Davin S. Lim, Brisbane. Australia.
I suggest seeing an expert for treatment, as a combination approach is needed for the best outcomes. Posting before and after photos in the same standardized light would be helpful. Best, Dr. Emer

Hello! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Aesthetic Skin in Winnetka and Chicago. This is a great question. If acne scarring appears to have worsened after SkinPen microneedling, it might be worth considering alternative treatments like CO2 laser...
Hello, I recommend the SkinPen for micro needling as it is an FDA approved device. All the best, Dr. Joe
