2. Between smooth and textured, which has a higher chance of bottoming out?
Answer: Between Motiva and Natrelle Soft Touch, which feels closer to a natural breast? hello thank you for your question and provided information as well...based on your question and my experience, I recommend the brand motivates, first by the texture, the material, how secure the implants are and most of all the projection they give.but my recommendation is that you get a consultation in person with a certified plastic surgeon to evaluate your case to see if you apply for the procedure and to show you in person and touch the two implants.

Answer: Implant Selection Hello,If you are being offered Motiva implants, then your surgeon is part of an elite group here in the US (unless he is getting them illegally from outside the US), and he/she should be able to give you the information you need (I am one too!). Motiva is a very different implant than any of the others from Natrelle, Mentor, or Sientra. Both its shell and the gel have been designed to be more 'life-like' in their physical characteristics, and although the outside is textured, it behaves like a smooth device, more mobile but more resistant to capsular contracture. Have this discussion with your surgeon. Best of luck!

Answer: Implant size and type Breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.Dear Realme0108,Bottoming out occurs when the implant falls below the current breast crease or inframammary line. It's more likely to happen with inframammary incisions, which is why I try not to use the inframammary approach to any breast surgery. Bottoming out can also occur if an implant is too large for the breast pocket. That is why it is important to choose an implant size that's correct for your body. I perform numerous measurements in the office to determine optimal implant size for my patient's bodies.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Feeling like a breast The best way to determine if the Motiva or Natrelle is more like your breast is to feel them in person. Your surgeon should have samples which you can hold and squeeze with your own hands. Keep in mind that even natural breasts between two people can feel very different due to the varying amounts of fat, fibrous tissue, and breast glands in each breast. Hope this helps!Johnson C.
