I am 22 years old .I am 5'2 197 pounds . DDD=F and have had large breast since the age of 12 .They feel like they keep growing . My back is always hurting and sometimes my neck . Extremely bad back pain .I have insurance. Maryland physicians care . I do not have job . I just need help

I am so sorry that you are so uncomfortable. Call your insurance company and see if they cover breast reduction surgery and if so, what criteria you would need to meet. Then, schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area (link below) who accepts your insurance to discuss your options. Best, Dr. Nazarian

You will need to choose a plastic surgeon in your insurance network.  They will evaluate you and write a letter to your insurance company requesting pre-approval.  It will then be up to your insurance company.

First call your health insurance company to see if your are covered for breast reduction surgery. Than see in person boarded PSs for examination and the finalization of your possible coverage or non coverage by the insurance. I am doubtful you have coverage though. Sorry.

Every insurance company has different guidelines for covering breast reduction as medically necessary.  You can contact your insurance company to find out what their requirements are.  You'll also need to consult a local plastic surgeon who accepts your insurance for an initial consultation.  At that time, the surgeon can examine you and submit for pre-authorization.
