It's a decision made by your surgeon to achieve the ideal shape. Some women have excess fat around the sides that needs to be "smoothed" out. Ask your surgeon whether or not it is right for you. Best, Dr. Nazarian

You can try to appeal the decision, but if that fails, your only choice will be to pay out of pocket or see if you can switch to a policy that covers breast reduction during the open enrollment period. Good luck!

Thank you for your question.It may take a couple days for the cortisone to start working, it wont be an immediate response.  Also, you may try some Benadryl to help with the itching.  I would also remove the rest of the steri strips, so that there is anything left to cause more...
