As you can see in the photos, I have one side of my face that is larger than the other, around my cheek/jaw. My cheeks don’t line up when I smile. Is this something I can resolve with facial aesthetics, or is it a case or surgery such as buccal fat removal?

Facial asymmetry, especially around the cheek and jaw area, is quite common. To address this, it's essential to identify the underlying cause.

Often, one cheek may appear fuller due to larger buccal fat pads. In such cases, asymmetric buccal fat removal can help, either by removing fat from the larger side or adjusting both sides to achieve balance. Jaw bone asymmetry is another possibility, which can be corrected by either augmenting the smaller side with fillers or reducing the larger side with Botox injections to the masseter muscle.
