Thank you for your question and photos.  If the scar has been present for at least one year, it is a good time to be evaluated by a board certified plastic surgeon.  Your options may include subcision with a dermal filler or a scar revision. Best of luck to you!

Does it matter whether you use a needle or cannula to fill in acne scars with dermal filler on the cheeks?

In our practice, broad based, depressed acne scars may be corrected permanently with microdroplet Silikon1000. These injections are superficial, and the filler is placed just below the scar with a small needle. I cannot imagine using a cannula for acne scar treatments. Thank you. Dr Joseph

I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion...

Is Versa a good choice for under eye filler?

Hi @BeachMama321. I typically use Restylane or Voluma hyper-diluted in the tear trough area with a cannula. Versa is not typically recommended. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
