Is a chin implant suitable for someone with periodontal disease?

Hi, The disease is not advanced but there are pockets and gum recession. If it progresses sometime at later stage, is chin implant suitable for that candidate? If someone loses the front lower teeth, will it affect chin implant in any way? Because the bone loss is possible after tooth loss. Thanks

Yes,  you can have your chin implant removed at any time. However, secondary surgery may be necessary to give a better look as it's uncertain what the result would be after removal. Talk to a plastic surgeon who has experience in this scenario.
