I had 1ml of juvederm ultra injected into my lips 8 days ago and they are still lumpy and uneven, if I try to wear any lipstick it only highlights the problem. The lady who done the injection is going to massage my lips tommorow and says this should solve the problem, is this right?

Answer: Bumps in lips following Juvederm injections
Most patients can feel some lumps from injections. However, if the lumps are visible then you may need Vitrase to dissolve the products if the lumps do not disappear with gentle massage. Best, Dr. Green
Hello lnga96,I like to stress that your goal is a result, not a set volume. If you trust your injector, he or she should help guide how much you need. It is always better to be conservative, especially on your first injection, to avoid an overdone lip. You can always go back...
It appears as if you are extremely lumpy from the injections. I suggest you massage the area for now. If it doesn't smooth out in a week I would return for Vitrase to dissolve the product. I prefer Sculptra often in this area. Best, Dr. Green
