This is my first time using any type of facial filler so I am concerned. I was injected with 1cc of juvederm yesterday for deep nasolabial folds and uneven lips I can feel and see how superficial the filler is under my skin, like two hard lines going down my face. The corners of my mouth also appear lumpy, and I can feel hard lumps in my lips. I'm freaking out over these results. Can I expect the juvederm to soften up and smooth out in the near future or was too much product used superficially ?

Hello lnga96,I like to stress that your goal is a result, not a set volume. If you trust your injector, he or she should help guide how much you need. It is always better to be conservative, especially on your first injection, to avoid an overdone lip. You can always go back...
It appears as if you are extremely lumpy from the injections. I suggest you massage the area for now. If it doesn't smooth out in a week I would return for Vitrase to dissolve the product. I prefer Sculptra often in this area. Best, Dr. Green
Normal look for early bruising. Will probably look worse after a day or two! Vascular occlusion does not occur often with lip injections.
