Congrats on your excellent accomplishment ! Once your weight is stable you can consider plastic surgery. My experience with weight loss patients undergoing fat transfer has been mixed. My observation is that they tend to not hold on to the fat as well as non-weightloss surgery patients. Also, loose skin is undoubtedly a part of your issue given the weight you have lost. Some form of lift would most likely be needed as well. Be sure and visit a doctor with extensive experience with weight loss patients, and be sure you see a lot of his photos of patients who look just like you !Best Wishes,Dr L.
Daviovalle24, let me first say that caring for massive weight loss patients has been a passion of mine since about 1999, when not much was know about this patient population. I have a lot of experience.Congratulations on your choice to address your health issues, and make positive life changes.I understand that you want to look good, and look good now. However, now you are not ready. You may not be ready for up to another year or more. You need to understand that your body is still changing a lot for up to or even longer longer than 18 months. It is unwise to consider lipo/fat transfer until your weight has stabilized. Consider that if you are loosing weight, what you are transferring is fat, and it will shrink as you loose weight. Additionally, the area transferred to will shrink, making your transfer inadequate. So, you need to wait until your weight is stable, and you are in good health.I recommend that you get into a support group, usually offered through your bariatric surgery center. Also see obesityhelp.com.Patience is best here.In 18 months, or so, lipo and fat transfer may in fact, be the absolutely wrong operation.Hope this helps.sek
If you have had gastric bypass and your weight is stable then you can probably go for fat transfer surgery. If you are still losing weight then you should wait.
Once your weight stabilizes then you may consult a Plastic Surgeon for fat transfer to the buttocks. This way there is no chance of loosing fat when loosing weight. You will get a better results at or near you ideal body weightSamir Shureih MD. FACSsshureih@msn.com

That’s a wonderful question! You’re absolutely right; this is an area of significant frustration with many of my patients. To answer your question specifically, the variability in pricing is a point of confusion for many patients. It all boils down to the surgeon’s exam and the solution elect...
Liposuction is a wonderful procedure for the right patient, but it has limitations. Liposuction can only remove excess fatty tissue that is located in the subcutaneous space (just under the skin). It can not tighten the abdominal wall or make the abdominal muscles stronger. A 25 inch waist is...
