I had gappy teeth and braces when I was younger. Can removing wisdom teeth cause gaps to return?

I had gappy teeth when I was younger which I had three braces for. Im due to have my wisdom teeth removed. Can this make the gaps come back if my wisdom teeth are no longer pushing them together?
