I received a small amount of botox in nasiolabal folds nearly 1 month ago and am experiencing a reptilian smile (flattened elongated upper lip resting on upper teeth) heaviness when I smile, and an uncomfortable sensation in the cheeks. I understand that there are no standard "antidotes" to this procedure. What are some options to accelerate metabolism of botox and/or to counterbalance this area?

If an area is repeatedly injected over time for many years, then yes it would become atrophied. In this case it would just mean the muscle would be weaker and would either, no longer require Botox or would need much less.
Thank you for your question. One has to make sure of the anatomical regions treated. The frown lines between the eyebrows is the glabellar region. Anything above and on the sides is considered forehead.First and foremost, you should go back to your injector for an assessment....
