Can I use Retin A on just my forehead and chin?

Question

I only have acne on my forehead and chin and was prescribed retin-A. Is it ok if I dont use it on the whole face. Also,which hair removal method is preferrable while using retin A(threading? ) Thank you!

question.You can apply Retin-A on specific areas of the face verses your entire face. Also, if you plan on getting any hair removal services done (i.e. waxing, threading or laser) it is recommended to stop using your retinol at least one week prior to your service to avoid any complications. To be sure what is best for you, see two
or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to
make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have
treatment.

You can use Retin-A or a milder type of retinoid cream which is high quality and less expensive for daily use in any combination of areas - I recommend Retinoid Repair RR Cream from Kare Skin.

Yes, you can apply Retin-A on site specific areas on your face as long as it is not too irritating.  It is recommended that you stop the Retin-A at least 5-7 days prior to hair removal, including threading.
