Fraxel or CO2 Treatment for Steatocystoma Multiplex?

Two articles recently have shown CO2 laser effective for Steatocystoma multiplex. To prevent reccurence the cyst walls must be removed? Can fraxel restore / repair be used? Because fraxel removes only fractions of the skin, would only a 100% ablative CO2 laser work in removing these lesions?

CO2 lasers have shown to be quite effective for Steatocystoma Multiplex. This condition requires a laser type that is strong and aggressive. This is why it is preferred over Fraxel.

	
	However, it works in a similar fashion to Fraxel by creating tiny columns of laser beams that vaporize the skin, getting rid of old cells. Healthy new cells then develop in these areas.

	This improves the skin tone and evens out the texture. The CO2 laser is both safe and effective.It is however with a significant risk of causing scarring. Be sure to have your procedure done by a qualified specialist physician..  And there are quite a few studies that support the effectiveness of this laser for Steatocystoma Multiplex. A finely focused beam with CO2/Erbium is an exceptionally good was to remove steatocystoma multiplex. This laser give a great balance of vaporization and coagulation to make the treatment very tidy.
