Are there any doctors in the triangle area of Raleigh, NC who can drain a seroma?

Consult the Smarty Beauty Guide for a surgeon in your area with significant experience in aesthetic surgery.  A seroma can be difficult to treat if it is long standing.

I do not understand.  If you were willing to go overseas to have your cosmetic surgery performed, why are you not willing to go overseas to have your surgeon treat the complications of that surgery? Surgeons here in the U.S. treat any complications that may arise from their procedures.  Is this something that overseas surgeons do not do? I would imagine that your overseas surgeon informed you thoroughly of all of the potential risks and complications that could arise from your procedure, and being thoroughly informed, you understood that you might have to return to that doctor for treatment if needed.

And that is exactly why we discourage going away for the surgery. You already paid the surgeon for all the post op care needed. This was cosmetic surgery and has no insurance coverage. With a seroma of that size you will need multiple visits and aspirations and may even need surgical drain placement. I suspect the cost would be somewhere in the $150 -$200 range for each visit and probably $500-$1000 for drain placement. Penny wise and pound foolish.
