Can a series of Microneedling treatment help remove malar mounds?

Hello hellodolly46,Thanks for your question.Microneedling can help tighten a little bit of the loose skin associated with malar mounds but they will not be removed.The treatments that seem to work are as follows:1. Total excision of the malar mound - leaves a scar on the cheek and limited to very large mounds2. Laser resurfacing of the mound skin with skin pinch blepharoplasty3. Laser resurfacing of the mound skin, laser lipo of the mound itself, and skin pinch blepharoplasty with orbicularis muscle liftNone of these treatments are perfect.  I would recommend that you consult with a specialist in facial cosmetic surgery to learn more about your options.Take care,Dr. Shah
