The fillers will not be affected by the MRI scan. However, you might want to let them know since the fillers can be seen as increased soft tissue density on the films which may be misinterpreted by the radiologist.

Having an MRI of the head would not affect fillers that were previously injected into the face. You should not be concerned.

Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
