Hi @sheilafierro. An MRI will not alter or interact with injectable fillers in any way. Best of luck,Dr. Nima
The fillers will not be affected by the MRI scan. However, you might want to let them know since the fillers can be seen as increased soft tissue density on the films which may be misinterpreted by the radiologist.
Thank you for your question. An MRI is magnetic technology and will not alter or interact with injectable fillers in any way. You should not be concerned.Good luck!Dallas R. Buchanan, MD, FACS Owner & Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon VIVIFY plastic surgery
Having an MRI of the head would not affect fillers that were previously injected into the face. You should not be concerned.
Hello and thank you for your great question. Getting an MRI will not have any ill effects on your fillers. Best wishes to you.Dr. T
Thank you for your question. I don't know of any contraindication of having an MRI scan with commonly used facial fillers. Usually metallic devices are the concern.Cheers,Brad Remington, MD
